When I was a little girl, my mom gave me a charm bracelet that I have added on charms to over the years. Each charm represents a part of me, a lucky jewel that tells a piece of my story:
Artist's Palette - I enjoy drawing, painting, taking photos, doing nail art, and making mixed media collages. I took AP Studio Art in high school, exploring the theme of beauty. I love seeing new contemporary art exhibits and street art. Follow my art instagram @juledcanvas to take part in my creative journey!
Jewel - I have always had a fascination with jewelry and anything sparkly. From wearing rings on all ten fingers in second grade to starting my own jewelry business "Charmed by Jewels" in high school (I made beaded bracelets and necklaces), my nickname Jules could not be more fitting.
Passport - I have been fortunate enough to travel to many exotic places around the world such as Australia, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina, and Dubai. I studied abroad in Milan during my junior year of college and visited 12 different countries. I am always grateful to learn about new cultures and expand my perspective on the world.
Running Sneaker - I started track at the end of ninth grade and then switched to a private school that had no team. Hence, I started the track team. I also converted my passion for track into a fundraising effort called "Together We Fly" to pioneer a team at a charter school in the Bronx.
Gymnast - Everyone knew me as the gymnast growing up. From age 3 to 15, I devoted my life to the competitive sport, practicing for 3-4 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. Whoever says gymnastics is not a sport has definitely not tried doing a back flip on a four inch beam.
Skier - Vail will always be my second home, and skiing will always be my biggest source of freedom. Nothing compares to the feeling of flying down the mountain with the wind at my back and beautiful mountains around me.
High Heel - I have been a "fashionista" since I was a little girl. From playing dress-up to writing for Penn's Fashion magazine, I will never outgrow the Audrey Hepburn within. As Coco Chanel once said, "Life is too short to wear boring clothes."
Calculator - I often describe myself as a nerd at heart. I graduated from Wharton with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing. I am working as a Venture Fellow for an early stage venture capital firm, Brand Foundry Ventures, for t
