I am a Researcher, IT Project Manager and Content Marketer with a proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders to provide professional development opportunities and academic services. Through my safe space,MomCademia, I inspire, educate and entertain African women seeking to navigate motherhood, academics and tech careers.

As Co-founder of Academic Hive, I promote capacity-building opportunities and digital skills development for young people and new researchers.

I'm fascinated by digital technologies. I love to travel and work in multicultural environments. Over the years, I have distinguished myself and acquired unique skills and capabilities in research, content writing, data analysis, social entrepreneurship, Business Analysis and IT Project Management.

My doctoral research is in consumer culture, service innovation, process improvement, higher education, digital transformations and sustainable development. Specifically, I am interested in adopting indigenous (decolonizing) and visual qualitative methodologies to unravel critical insights about the consumption behaviour of African migrants in foreign countries.

In addition to teaching at the university, I have written insightful blog articles, and published and presented research papers in journals and conferences.

As a result of my passion for research, business development, and blogging, I have won several grants and awards such as:

  • UoA Business Dean's Doctoral Scholarship (2023)
  • Grant Awardee, Summer Institute in Computational Social Sciences (SICSS-Calabar, 2022)
  • Grant Awardee, ACU Early Career Researcher Training (2022).
  • Finalist, Global Development Network International Youth Research Competition (Bonn, Germany, 2019);
  • Top 5 Survey Affiliate of the World Economic Forum (Geneva, 2016),
  • UNICAL Study Fellowship Award (Calabar, 2016);
  • Clute Institute's Best Paper Award (New York and London, 2015);
  • Winner, Lyfecamp Business Pitch Competition (Lagos,2014);
  • Awardee, Ashoka Youth Venturer (Connecticut,2012).

As an undergrad, I doubled as the best-graduating student in the Department of Marketing and the Faculty of Management Sciences.

I've been featured by reputable educational organizations and blogs such as the University of Auckland, Elsevier, Otter.ai, and Global Shapers Community. Under my leadership, Academic Hive has organized research training and fostered collaborative relationships with institutional experts.
