I am, therefore I write… While I may have a slightly skewed approach to Descartes’ famous philosophy, it works for me!

I’ve never wanted to be anything other than a creative writer, and in my capacity as a content producer for Leadgenerators Digital, in London, that’s exactly what I get to be. But if you think working for a digital marketing agency doesn’t sound like I’d get to flex my creative muscles very much, think again.

As part of the content team at Leadgenerators Digital I’m tasked with a wide variety of long and short form writing, including press releases, blog posts, social media posts, web page copy and link building articles. Because the agency’s portfolio of clients is so diverse, I get to use my creative skills in many different ways; writing in different voices, tones and styles not only keeps me on my toes, it keeps me engaged and interested in my work every step of the way.

For instance, on any given day I could be recommending car hire excess insurance for that next exciting road trip, writing a blog post about the magic of holidays in Menorca or appealing to the powder hounds with the prospect of a weekend in a luxury catered ski chalet. I’ve even had to get in touch with my inner white van man to write about courier jobs, transport holidaymakers around the globe via shuttle transfers and take myself back to my days as a young student to write about options for an exciting school trip!

Not only do I get to travel the world via my keyboard, I also get to try out a host of different sports, cuisines, cultures, experiences and professional hats every single day. Even if it is just in my mind.

Of course, some people might call that daydreaming, but, lucky me - I get to call it my job.
