Retired Director of Campus Recreation from the University of Arizona. Plays conga and sings and loves life. Recently received the Honor Award from the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association in April, 2012. It is the highest award given to a professional in the field of Campus Recreation. Now lives in Pensacola Florida and works part time at the University of West Florida in the Anthropology Department as an Office Specialist. She also works with the Extended care program at Sacred Heart Elementary School with kids. She also plays percussion (conga drums specifically) when available with Deacon John (her brother) and the Ivories in New Orleans. The picture is from a previous Jazz Festival she played with Deacon. She also sings at the Gregory St. Assembly Hall in Pensacola for fun during open mic nights on Wednesdays. Her mantra is Celebrate Life Everyday!!
