Julie Zielinski Gabis

I'm a wife & a mother to The Child, a modern day Calvin (of Calvin & Hobbs), & stepmom to a lovely son & 2 incredible daughters. I spent several years earning my living as an actress, & had the privilege of working in dinner theatres all over the US. Since then, I've been an editor, a writer, a graphic designer, secretary to the Exceptional Children's Education department at my son's elementary school, & I'm currently an HR Specialist at a large company.I am fortunate enough to have a 2nd (& 3rd) job as an editor for local publishing houses. I get to flex my creative muscle, & I get paid to do it. I love finding new ways to express my creativity, be it onstage, editing, or in the kitchen. I'm (pretty much) always up for a challenge, & I love that life has taken me in so many directions. I value the very eclectic group I'm privileged to call friends.
