PhD candidate in Business and Territorial Competitiveness, Innovation, and Sustainability at the Pontifical University of Comillas (Madrid, Spain). I holds a master’s degree in Economics Applied to Tourism and the Environment from the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain) and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Rafael Landívar University (Guatemala). I am currently a research scholar in the Department of Economics at the Institute for Research in Social Sciences and Humanities at Rafael Landívar University.
I have worked at leading higher education institutions in Europe as a visiting professor and researcher and has participated in multiple research projects focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). My work has been published in academic journals and specialized academic sources, and I have extensive experience in university-level teaching.
