Julia Pullen
Chicago
I am a young professional with a background in marketing and events who loves to travel but rarely has the chance to do so. I ran the 2013 Chicago Marathon with Bright Pink, the only national nonprofit organization focusing on the prevention & early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women while providing support for high-risk individuals.
I am currently Project Coordinator and Returns Specialist at ClearSounds Communications in Naperville. Previously, I have been an assistant event coordinator, social media coordinator, executive assistant, experiential marketing tour manager/coordinator and brand ambassador, and held various internships in client services, marketing and more.
My strengths include copywriting and proofreading, social media, event marketing, organization, event coordination/planning, customer and client service, consumer engagement, and a love of the Oxford comma.
I received my B.A. in Communication from Purdue University with a focus on PR/Advertising and minors in French and History. At Purdue I was involved in a variety of extracurricular activities including Purdue Student Union Board, Panhellenic Association, Dance Marathon, Boiler Gold Rush, and the Liberal Arts Honors Program.
I believe brunch is a completely acceptable hobby, this is always the year the Cubs will win the World Series, no movie is ever as good as its book, any inanimate object has room for a monogram, and all non-rainy days between 65° and 85° should be spent outdoors (ideally on a patio, boat, or porch).
