The Jump Manual Blog was founded in order to discuss the effectiveness of the jump manual vertical leap training program.

The founder of the blog, Matthew Godley, has ventured out on a quest to increase his vertical leap and achieve the ability that's saved only to NBA players, the ability to dunk.

I began my quest researching for vertical jump programs and I found that many of the programs are not really professional at all.

How do I know this?

Because I tried or heard about the experience of other people who tried them.

For instance, I tried air alert, strength shoes, independent plyometrics, squat workouts and did very little to my vertical jump.

After a lot of research, I finally got somewhere and found out about The Jump Manual, a professional grade vertical leap system. It looked good from the start and had all the ingredients of being a good program - the author is famous vertical jump coach, the program is diverse, and most importantly, it has gotten people results.

For this reason, I decided to try the jump manual and Voilla! In just 3 weeks I added almost 5 inches to my vertical leap. This was more than enough to prove to me that the jump manual was the right choice for a training routine.

After increasing my vertical with the initial inches, I got even more motivated and began working even harder with the program.

I took the private coaching sessions with Jacob Hiller and followed the program down to the smallest details.

I cant say there were no setbacks, I had times where it was very hard and I was stuck making no progress, but with the help and assistance of coach Hiller I was able to break through the plateau and reach my goal.

Many people who have done the jump manual will say that the program is slow, that is indeed true, yet it is slow for a reason.

The manual is built in a way that puts safety at a top priority, therefore any progress is usually made in a progressive and gradual manner. This is done so to prevent injury.

Since the jump manual has put injury prevention on its pedestal, it's considered as one of the best jump training and workouts that exist today.
