Junaid Ahmed

My name is Junaid Ahmed, I am a young and dynamic guy with a straight and clear vision, serving my life for those in need. I am a Social Activist and an Education messenger, and have been associated with Dream Foundation Trust as a Communication Secretary since 4 years. As Communication secretary, I play an active role in documentation related to different events, report writing and proposals etc.

I have been a part of National Youth Network-Pakistan and a member of NEST, a network to strengthen and uplift the capacity of the political parties as well as the grassroot NGOs, spearheaded by Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO).

Besides, I am a Future Journalist – Photographer – Blogger and Author, ‘m Social Entrepreneur and zealous about Film making, #Feminist and a proud Pakistani.

Current upsurge of extremism and ongoing violence coerced me to now take part in Social Change – I have facilitated numerous training such as Organisational Development, Democracy & Good Governance, Sectoral Planning & Management, Research, Advocacy & Campaign, Use of Social Media & How to play an active role to, Sexual & Reproductive Heatlh Right, Classroom Management & Teaching Aid Development, Leadership etc.

I have been done many training as part of the team such as:

• 20 Days Course on “Speaking up English with Rehmat Ebrahim” by Society of Pakistan English Language Teacher (SPELT)
• 5 Days training on Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights by AAHUNG
• Attended Workshop on Human Rights Based Approach and Reflection Action held by Actionaid.
• 9 days workshop on Role & Responsibilities of a teacher, Classroom management, How children learn, Teaching Aid development, language development, Lesson Planning and Children Health held by BEHBOOD Association Karachi.
• Teacher Training workshop held by Rotary Club of Karachi Metropolitan.
• Attended Workshop on Organization Management, Human Rights & Democratic Governance, Sectoral Planning and Management, Advocacy and PRA tools, held by Strengthening Participatory Organization SPO.
• Attended workshop on Sexual & Reproductive Health, Child Rights and HIV/AIDs held by RAHNUMA FPAP.
• Attended Workshop on Research and Reporting, held by NEST.
• Attended Workshop on Leadership and Its Quality held by SPO.
