June LaGreen

June Ware LaGreen is a native of Detroit, Michigan and received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is a motivational speaker, author and stage performer, having re-enacted Harriet Tubman for the last 6 years. She performs a “Harriet Tubman” skit at the Cannonsburgh Museum in Murfreesboro every year in April at the Pioneer Festival and in October at the Harvest Festival. In addition, she performs at Oaklands Historic House Museum, Sam Davis Farm and local schools and churches. Her hobbies are gardening, clogging, reading and learning to speak the Spanish language. “Harriet Tubman – A Freedom Trailblazer” is her first book.
