I am a professor of information systems and analytics at the School of Computing (SoC) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) where I teach Information Systems (IS) related topics. I received my Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea; and my PhD from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

I joined the SoC faculty in July of 2012. My primary teaching interests include systems analysis and design, IT project management, knowledge management, and IT strategy. My current research interests include systems development, organizational learning and knowledge management. My research has appeared in such journals as Management Science, Organization Science, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction, Electronic Markets and Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science. My research has also been presented at leading academic conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Academy of Management Conference, the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), the ACM Conferences on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), the Conference of the Productions and Operations Management Society (POMS), the Conference of the Cognitive Sciences Society (CogSci), the Workshop on Information Systems and Economics (WISE), the Workshop on Information Technology and Systems (WITS), and the Workshop on HCI Research in MIS (AIS SIGHCI).

Prior to moving to Singapore, I was on the faulty at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana from Fall 2003 through Spring 2012, and was a visiting assistant professor of information systems at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from August 2009 through May 2010.
