Junião born Antonio Carlos de Paula Junior, in Campinas/SP/Brazil. He studied at the college of Arts Education and turned his illustrations and cartoons into a profession in 1994. Makes children's books for young people, cartoons for newspapers and magazine illustrations, and internet applications. Won awards as the cartoon contest on AIDS of the braziliann Ministry of Health and journalistic Vladimir Herzog.
The cartoonist currently lives in São Paulo, where he also plays at being a musician.
