Aspiring Origami Art Therapist, Translator, and Origami Artist in Boston, Massachusetts
Hello. Thank you for visiting my page.
I was born and raised in Japan. I went to school in southern Illinois and graduated with a Bachelors in Linguistics. I’m an origami artist, aspiring art (origami) therapist, and translator from Boston who loves Japanese culture and philanthropy.
Origami is my hobby and used as rehabilitation to continue improving my fine motor skills in my hands that helps combat Parkinson’s disease. My mother-in-law suggested origami to continue improving hand coordination. Thus far, it has greatly improved and helped me advance to much more complicated origami creations. Origami also helps keep my brain sharp and my creativity fluid because of the memorization required in forming all the different creations. It is fun, joyful, and therapeutic.
I am now an origami artist who sells my work. Also, I am heavily studying the science and case studies behind art (origami) therapy to soon become an expert on the field and an origami art therapist to bring this rehabilitation secret to others across the world.
