I'm currently studying MBA and MA in Translation and Localization Management (MATLM) as a dual-degree graduate student at Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS).

My hometown is Hangzhou, the provincial capital of Zhejiang Province, China. It’s a very beautiful city with rich historical culture and is famous for the West Lake (background picture). I graduated from my undergraduate school University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) and earned BA in English (International Trade). During university, I spearheaded Foreign Language Learning Association in USST and organized multifarious activities such as Foreign Language Training Class and English Studying Club. I was recognized as one of the “Outstanding Graduates of USST” as well as the “Outstanding Graduates of Shanghai” in 2010.

Now, I’m an Associate Translation Manager of China Guiding Cases Project (CGCP), which is a groundbreaking initiative of Stanford Law School. Leading a team of over 15 translation/editing professionals, I assist the Director to fulfill various translation tasks including commentaries and guiding cases released by the China’s Supreme People’s Court. I utilize Lingotek to manage translation projects and take charge of terminology and TM management. I’m also working as the Chinese Project Manager at MIIS L10N, a student localization organization. I lead a team of 16 MIIS students working on a variety of dynamic localization projects including MIIS main website transcreation projects, Chinese social media management and also video subtitling localization projects. I’m also a Senior Graduate Assistant at Student Technology Services (STS) at MIIS.
