Juno the Rogue Barbarian

Juno was born in the 1930s in a small village on the coast of Norway to parents each respectively of Norwegian and Russian origins. She grew up as their cherished youngest and only daughter. Raised in Norway, Russia and England she learned from an early age all three languages and excelled in the elite private girl's boarding schools she spent most of her youth in. Raised to be a lady of the mid 20th century she showed particular promise and talent on the piano and in classical dance. Just after her 19th birthday Juno was studying these talents at highly prestigious settings when her life as she knew it was shattered.

Taken on one of the slaver ships to a foreign and entirely awful, crude and primitive world she was in a state of complete shock for most of her first few months. The threat of rape and abuse kept her well behaved for what innocent (even by earthly standards) would not be scared. She was soon sold at auction to an unusual man whom was so old Juno could not comprehend such an age! In his frail state the old man personally taught Juno how to read and write Gorean with the aim of her acting as a clerk of sorts - but as a slave until the time she was ready to a Gorean free woman and freed. That day never came. Dying only a year and a bit after buying Juno her owner's youngest grandson claimed her as his property. The gentle and understanding teaching ended. Her body was robbed of it's innocence. The experience left her in a severely unsettled mental state and as a result she managed to escape the grandson.

The years following were the hardest in her short life. She did not comprehend Gorean life and culture. It was revolting and disturbing to her delicate and rather hopelessly idealistic sensibilities. She struck out to live as best she could with her freedom. Of course time and time again men would claim her as slave - sometimes for her barbarian origins and sometimes just because her pale ethereal beauty drew them to her. Slowly, the sweet and hopeful girl that she had been disappeared with each violent and disturbing assault to her body, her freedom and her very soul. No man ever gave pleasure with their unwanted touch. As the years passed by hardness became her companion until the kind and tender-hearted young woman was buried forgotten inside her cold exterior shell.

All this could have easily been an entirely different life if someone had simply shown some compassion and gentleness. But such is not given to barbarian
