I'm a design director having a sabbatical. I teach strategy and experience design at Aalto University and I'm a Fjord alumnus.

Design thinking framework, Toyota Production System and rhetorical theory have had a major influence on my approach to design. Especially the latter despite the degradation of rhetoric with Cartesian theory that persists into modern times. During the Renaissance rhetorical theory was integral part of visual arts and music, and now in the 21st century it’s time to re-introduce it back to design discipline.
