The great transition. I have concluded the beginning of my life, now entering the middle. What do I want to be defined as? This is a question many youths must ask themselves as the world is changing even more rapidly. It's not all about "me" anymore, potential challenges are now materializing and must be championed.

I want to be known as a big picture thinker. Aware of how different elements affect each other and with success in one area, it supports others. Change does not happen from above, we all need to do our part from below. Doing more with less is cliché, though it's becoming a way of life.

Do we really need cable TV, two cars, supermarkets or a Starbucks at every corner? How do we adjust our requirements and hone in on the experience, source, relationship and understanding?

Well aware of the negativity and battle ahead, I stand by my convictions and feel strangely optimistic as we move into the future.
