I have never found it easy to conform and as a result I really struggled to achieve any success at school. This lead to me working in dead end menial jobs that I never enjoyed.

Once I met my beautiful wife Sarah, things started to change for me. After several years of finding or way we got married and then travelled the world together, living life to the fullest and truly sucking the marrow out of life. We spent time in Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Singapore, Cambodia, Nepal, India, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy and well, you get the idea. I got to look up at Mt Everest from its base camp, run with the bulls in Pamplona, climb a 600 meter cliff near Lake Garda and snowboard down untouched off piste mountains in perfect meters deep powder.

Infact we were having such a great time that Sarah became pregnant with our first child. This resulted in us returning to our beautiful city of Adelaide in South Australia, where a whole new adventure was awaiting us. Two months after returning Sarah gave birth to our Son Dylan and we shared an experience to match anything we had ever done. We bought a house in a quaint little town in the Adelaide Hills and before too much longer we had a second child, this time a perfect little daughter that we named Skye.

Since then we have achieved a lot. Sarah got the degree she had always wanted and is creating the career in journalism that she spoke to me about nearly 20 years ago. I work for one of Australia's largest companies and have begun my own pursuit of academic achievement having begun the long road to a business degree. Both our kids will be at school this year and pretty much everything is going to plan. This year is looking like an even better one than the last.
