Justin “Varsity” Washington was born in East St. Louis, Illinois and graduated from Belleville East high school in May of 2008.

Justin came to Texas Southern University in the fall of 2008 where he walked on the track and field team and eventually earned a scholarship.

Justin is an aspiring rapper whose style is a tribute to the roots of old school hip-hop. He prides himself on being a complex lyricist with intricate wordplay and an unruly style that shows he is not afraid to be brutally honest with his audience.

Jusitin was recently in a Short film musical hit called, "Something Different." It was written by Nailah Johnosn and starred TSU students.

The name 'Varsity' is a tribute to his love for sports and his families’ strong athletic background.
