Justin Eason recently transferred from Durham Technical Community College where he received his AAS in Criminal Justice. He is a longtime native of Durham NC, and has chosen to further his studies at North Carolina Central University to develop a deeper understanding of the law. He is employed by the Durham Police Department, where he has been a sworn law enforcement officer since February of 2008. During his career he spent many years as a patrol officer, where he also became a police training officer, and trained fifteen officers from 2011 until 2015. He was promoted to Detective in June of 2016 as a District Investigator for the East side of Durham, where he still remains today. He has been married to his wife Jennifer since 2007, and they have two young boys.
