Mr Floyd is a serial Entrepreneur and seed investor in potential high growth technology businesses across EMEA, USA, Africa and Asia. He has considerable technology and product vision particularly in digital financial services , payments, credit, and new technologies with particular focus on AI.

His is an investor and current serving CEO in RedCloud , a potential global leading technology business building a new financial service infrastructure in emerging markets using Distributed Banking and Decentralised Databases to solve financial inequality.

Mr Floyd is deeply passionate about the global financial inclusion challenges and is a partner in a small Venture Partner company that provides seed support through initial early stages until Series A for companies that are building technology for global economic change.

Mr Floyd currently serves as one of the main Board Directors of RedCloud Technologies. He is also a shareholder in two innovative Cambridge Technology companies, Cambridge Medical Robotics and Omnisense Ltd.

Previously Mr Floyd was the Chairman and Co- Founder of the Vecta Software Corporation that was taken from a garage start up to becoming a leading Cloud based Enterprise Software Company that provided financial technology.

The company was at the point of IPO before being sold to a private equity firm . Mr Floyd was also Chairman and co founder of CCL pic that founded a number of technology start ups including V Trade and Atomic Data as well as an early financial technology and digital lending business using algorithmic credit scoring .

He is twice a regional Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, twice a Red Herring 100 winner, Finalist in Codie award winner, a Fast Track 100 finalist and holder of a number of industry awards.
