My passion is to acquaint Christians with the Jewish roots and heritage of their faith, and become better equipped and engaged in building redemptive bridges within the Jewish community.
In 1998 I founded the eXperience Israel program, a short-term ministry and spiritual pilgrimage program for young adults, and I often assist Christian organizations, campus ministries, and churches in learning more about Jewish culture and developing their relationships within the Jewish community. In 2009 I started a learning community called the Kesher Forum that is hosted at the North Shore campus of Willow Creek Community Church in Northfield, Illinois, which is oriented around engaging people with Jewish culture and the Jewish community.
My wife, Judy, and I and our daughters, Mackenzie and Madeline, and son, Joshua, live in the suburbs of Chicago. If you live in the Chicago area you will occasionally hear Judy hosting a program for WMBI-90.1FM of the Moody Broadcasting Network. We are members at the North Shore campus of Willow Creek Community Church in Northfield, Illinois where I serve on the Leadership Advisory Council and Judy directs "Women of Willow."
