Justin Leayuan Cho

Vice President with Vista Equity Partners, Justin Leayuan Cho has nearly a decade of experience in investment analysis and management. Cho joined Vista Equity Partners in 2005, and he focuses on the firm’s investments in software and high technology. He has handled investments in P2 Energy Solutions, Accero, Inc., Surgical Information Systems, and Ventyx, among other companies. Cho has also managed internal Vista programs for executive recruiting, investment professional recruiting, and cross-portfolio standardization.

Prior to joining Vista Equity Partners, Justin Leayuan Cho worked as an investment banking analyst in corporate finance with Merrill Lynch & Co., focusing on companies in the technology, health care, and retail sectors. His projects here involved buy-side and sell-side transactions, equity and debt financing, and other strategic advisory initiatives. During his tenure with Merrill Lynch & Co., Cho ranked in the top 5 percent of an international class of over 100 analysts.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
