Justin Nauling

While serving in the Marine Corps for more than five years, Justin Nauling received many forms of marine combat and intelligence training, including in water survival techniques, marksmanship, and reconnaissance, eventually becoming a Platoon Sergeant. Additionally, he provided thousands of fellow marines combat training and martial arts instruction. In the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, Justin Nauling achieved the rank of Black Belt Instructor. After retirement from Camp Pendleton in California, he began training in jiu jitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing, studying with a number of notable fighters, including Santino DeFranco, Joe Riggs, and Edwin Dewees. Deciding to pursue a career in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting, Justin Nauling amassed an impressive 5-2 record. During his MMA career, he earned significant praise for his wins against celebrated opponents Ray Elbe and Gabe Rivas. His losses to Brandon Roberts, a fighter renowned for his ground techniques, and Jamie Varner, who became famous in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and for a lightweight championship in World Extreme Cagefighting, were also among Mr. Nauling’s best fights on record. Today, Justin Nauling relies on an array of activities for training, including running, volleyball, and CrossFit, a rigorous program that focuses on core strength and conditioning. Moreover, he enjoys a wide variety of extreme sports, such as skydiving, and maintains an interest in motorcycling. Mr. Nauling continues to train in jiu jitsu and kickboxing. Understanding the importance of education, he has studied at the University of Maryland and University of Phoenix, where he focused on Organizational Security Management.
