Justin Lewis
A comprehensive dentist and Dental Officer in the United States Army, Justin Lewis has served his country at home and abroad, treating patients with the full range of dental conditions. With a diversified academic and military background, Dr. Lewis began his career as a Psychology and Philosophy student at the University of Nevada, Reno, and, later, as an enlisted counterintelligence agent, during which time he received a Green to Gold Scholarship for the Army ROTC. Enrolling at the University of Louisville in 2000, Justin Lewis went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, earn the Army Health Professions Scholarship, and gain admission to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
Over the next four years, Dr. Lewis continued to build upon his outstanding academic record in dental school, ultimately finishing in the top quarter of his graduating class. Following receipt of his Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2007, he commenced his current role as an Officer in the Army Dental Corps, stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
Since then, Dr. Lewis has held a number of responsibilities at Fort Bragg and elsewhere, completing a two-year comprehensive dental residency, developing expertise in the management of orofacial pain and prosthodontics, and teaching various topics to fellow dentists. In addition, Justin Lewis traveled to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he treated NATO service members as a comprehensive dentist. Noted for his volunteer work as well, Dr. Lewis served as a counselor for a suicide prevention hotline and has provided free preventative dentistry for individuals and families in need. At present, Justin Lewis lives and works in North Carolina.
