Justin Quinn

Justin Quinn is currently a senior in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, pursing a degree in accounting. A driven and passionate student, Justin has been on the Dean’s list all semesters at UMass and is a student in the Commonwealth Honors College. After transferring from the George Washington University, he has enjoyed all the phenomenal opportunities Isenberg has to offer, taking on leadership positions in the Accounting Association and as a peer mentor to incoming transfer students.

This past winter, Justin completed an internship with Grant Thornton in Boston and got a first hand experience of a major accounting firm’s busy season. Working in the audit practice, Justin had exposure to both established and growing clients. He appreciated learning the audit process across a variety of industries and looks forward to further developing those skills. Upon successful completion of the internship, Justin accepted a full-time offer as an Audit Associate beginning Fall 2015.

Outside of the classroom and workplace, Justin directs his enthusiasm and determination towards running. An avid runner since high school, Justin has accomplished numerous half marathons and obstacle races during his time in college. Always looking for the next challenge, Justin is now training for his first full marathon. Balancing training for these races and academics affirms his time management and organizational skills- there is always time to follow your passions.

By May, with a marathon and excellent undergraduate education under his belt, Justin looks forward to expanding technical accounting and leadership skills to succeed in the public accounting industry and beyond.
