<Soccer Highlights>

High School (Denver East High School, Public, 2,471 students). I play for the Denver East High School Varsity Soccer Team. Currently, we are ranked #3 in the State of Colorado for 5A (largest schools). This year we unfortunately lost in the second round of the playoffs as we were upset in PK’s. We had high expectations. Last year, we made it into the 5A State Championship game, but lost 1-0.

My club soccer team: ​​FC Denver Soccer Club​ ​​(click on the "Read my blog" button above). For the last few years of playing club soccer I have been playing for the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club. I was selected this year for the Colorado Rapids U18 Select Team (directly below the DA Development Academy), but I chose to join FC Denver’s U19 Team, which is an Adult Semi-Professional team. The 19 year old and under men’s team, is focused on developing talented and dynamic high school aged male players. The U19 players will have opportunities to train and compete with FC Denver’s first team, while selected first team players will be invited to mentor, train and play with the U19 players.

Along with this new club I have also competed with the Colorado ODP teams for many years now. Most recently I was a starter as well as leading in scoring and assists on the team for the ODP regional tournament in Phoenix, Arizona where we played the other top players in each state.

Position

Most of my career, I have been center midfield, but due to a growth spurt (now over 6 feet) and an increase in speed, my coaches have moved me up to striker. With my high school team so far this season, I am #2 in combined goals and assists (points). I do prefer the attacking central midfield role, as I have been playing that for most of my career, but I can really contribute in any position in the midfield or up top as an attacker.
