I am a young woman breaching adulthood and expanding in ways I never thought possible.

As a child I saw myself as something broken, I was hearing impaired. Today I proudly call myself Deaf and will defend who I am with my last breath.

Years ago I wouldn't have imagined myself where I am today. I've won a scholarship and a national contest, been published three times (and one of those was the front page of an issue), been the president of a club, and gone to Girls State.

I hope to continue my life making accomplishments and branch out even further by changing the world I live in.
