Justyna Szulczewska

Having worked within the print production/publishing industry for over 5 years I have gained a solid experience in both print production and project management, across high-end fashion and food magazines and catalogues.

I am currently employed as a Production Controller by Redwood Publishing, a leading Content Marketing Agency which is part of AMV BBDO. During my time here I have worked on Your M&S in-store magazines, other Marks & Spencer related projects as well as ad-hoc projects/pitches for UGG, a high end luxury automotive brand and a large blue chip financial company.

I have a very good understanding of the print process having worked on numerous types of magazines and attending press passing both in the UK as well as Europe and the USA. I have also been the production lead on a number of ad hoc projects where I have always successfully delivered high quality products whilst meeting tight deadlines and challenging budgetary constraints. I have worked on a daily basis with Art Directors and Managing Editor to ensure smooth prepress process where I provided technical support and guidance.

I have a very good eye for detail and a personal interest in fashion and design. I have recently enrolled on an evening Design course at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design and have a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop and InDesign. I am fully conversant in Office and am PC and Mac literate.

In my spare time I attend Ceroc dance classes, paint and draw, visit galleries and museums, go to the gym and expand my knowledge about graphic and web design.
