I am a professional web copyeditor and social media consultant who enjoys assisting clients in facilitating social communication in online media.
Simply Socialable was born out of the idea that social media doesn't have to be complicated or cost a fortune to work. My role is based on what I refer to as the '3 E's':
- Educate.
- Enact.
- Enable.
I educate clients about social media by providing 1:1, in-depth analysis of what their social media plan currently looks like versus what it could look like. Often times, my clients are businesses who are just starting out or individuals who may feel lost in the 'social snowglobe'.
After gaining knowledge, clients are provided with the social tools that they will need to enact a successful social plan that works within their budget and time frame.
The main purpose of my role is to enable clients to take control of their social plan. Think of it as the day you finally get to take the training wheels off of your bike.
Personal
When I'm not earning a living, I enjoy humanitarian work. I am extremely active in the Raleigh/Durham community, volunteering my time to various local organizations.
I am also a big advocate of personal fitness and staying physically active. That said, I am an active member of two adult soccer leagues and can also be found running the trails at Umstead. You can read more about my fitness endeavors here.
