I am a wife and mother of 4. I am currently recovering from a series of strokes that have left me partially paralyzed on my left side. I thank God everyday for my life. Even though I lost a part of me I am still so grateful to be alive. When I think of all the hardships the African farmer faces, I realize that my problems are small compared to theirs. I can go to the grocery store anytime I want to get food for my family. These farmers can't. They need these pumps to save their crops and to support their families. In this picture you see three of my reasons for believing in this project. My children are privledged to live in a country where they have access to food and clean water.
