Growing up with a great-grandmother who was born in another century was always fascinating to me. My mom knew her great-grandfather who fought during the Civil War. I was always interested in family genealogy, I just didn't know what it was called! I really started learning and researching my family in 2002. My education is continuing and the research will never end!
