Jennifer Guzman

I've got this idea, of who I'm going to be. In my head, I imagine myself as successful, living happily, but not drowning in riches. I have this thought, that one day, one year, everything will fall into place. Until then, I'm just passing by everyday, working to make that future happen.

My name is Jennifer Guzman. I'm 20 years old and a student at Salt Lake Community College. My family come to the U.S. over 20 years ago from a South American country called Bolivia. I say South America because I'm constantly asked where it is, and what my ethnicity is (because I'm not Indian, Native American, Mexican, Arab, Muslim, etc.) My mind is always wondering, so I guess that's what makes me lose interest in things so quickly. I'm living in SLC, UT and I haven't gotten married yet, or had a serious boyfriend, so I guess I'm winning in some sense of the word. I'm happy, I love life, even when it gets hard because I know it'll get better.
