I am not your average everyday HR Lady. NO WAY! I am the "NEW BREED" of HR professional.
At a very young age I realized that I was fascinated and intrigued by people and how they interact with one another; how they think and feel about different things; why they think and feel the way they do in different situations; what makes people motivated or de-motivated; and how do they connect with others and why?
My preferred title is "Employee Experience Director". I seem to possess a specific DNA structure that allows me to adapt and implement NEW HR practices and theories to improve business results in day-to-day operations, while keeping one eye on building a foundation for the future.
In my various human resources roles, I have always had the ability to connect with people at all levels and develop the relationships needed to establish open, honest, trust-worthy communication. Establishing trust and communication has afforded me the ability to successfully implement an organizational change plan, form a communication path that is built on trust and can withstand sharing of constructive feedback, and strategically planned a process for a cultural shift to accommodate the blending of a new millennial workforce with the current workforce.
The key to my success IS my desire to LEARN. My approach has always been to create learning opportunities with every interaction, regardless of title, pay grade, or seniority. Providing supervisors and managers with the tools needed to nurture staff development has become one of my unique talents. Once the stage is set, learning becomes a behavior that requires no conscious effort; it just happens organically.
My hunger for knowledge has given me a new perspective on human capital strategies and how they directly align with improved business outcomes. Utilizing an eclectic human capital management strategy has helped me improve employee engagement, organizational culture, employee performance and reduce turnover.
One of the key strategies to a productive and high performing workforce is communication. You need to build a culture that harnesses transparency and open honest communication. The new workforce will not WANT transparency, they will EXPECT it. Now is the time to refresh, renew and re-structure your organization.
Do you have the necessary tools to motivate your team? I can help you think through and develop a viable strategy that will sustain change.
