I hear my daughter practicing her clarinet and my son singing

I see my puppy trying to steal my husbands shoe and my cat...well, he's just lounging around

I want my children to be successful and happy

I pretend I don't need help when sometimes I really do

I feel hopeful and satisfied

I touch the lives of everyone I meet and they touch my life too

I worry that I will outlive my children...isn't that all parents' fear?

I cry when I think of my father (RIP dad)

I say "If it was easy then you didn't work hard enough"

I dream of retiring my husband and having our second honeymoon

I try to be the best version of myself and teach my kids the same

I hope to one day open a free clinic to help my local community
