John W. Moore

Commercial Vehicle Safety Management Specialist Certified Director of Safety John W. Moore brings 33 years of trucking knowledge to the firm. Mr. Moore holds both national certifications for transportation safety management: Certified Director of Safety through NATMI and Certified in Fleet Safety at the director level through TMTA and UNT. His most recent industry position was Vice President of Safety for Willis Shaw Express where he was responsible for safety and compliance processes and policies for over 900 drivers at 4 terminals. He was also responsible for supervising accident investigation for the carrier and often testified as the company’s PMK representative. His past experience encompasses truck company management policies and procedures, safety management, compliance, loss prevention, and truck driver training, qualification and retention. He is also experienced in industrial and oil field safety including fork lift, PPE and confined spaces. Mr. Moore holds a valid CDL with combinations, double/triple trailers, tanker and Haz-Mat endorsements. His heavy vehicle driving experience included cabover and conventional tractors pulling vans, double drop furniture vans, a variety of flatbed configurations, and tankers. He logged over 475,000 miles in his truck driving career. Mr. Moore is also a private investigator licensed in the State of Texas.
