Jyi Sim

Jyi 極 | 生命の奏者 is an independent Malaysian singer/songwriter/producer who is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering in Imperial College London. She has won several singing competitions since young and started composing her own songs at the age of 16.
She wrote and self produced “Songs about Malaysia: Postcards from Unity” and “Dimensions of Life”. She even expands her composition into orchestration where she produced "Japanese Romance: Aki" mid 2012. She wish to share her joy and happiness in music to the rest of the world.
In February 2013, Jyi had her very first gig in London pub, The Good Ship, Kilburn. Around 40 - 50 of her friends attended. It was a special night for Jyi as that was her first time performing her own songs in public. Jyi also invited her friends, Straw and Wei Yi to perform for the night. Jyi's dream is to tour all over the world performing her original songs and covers in front of thousands of people.
