Jonathan Chang

Hello,

It's a pleasure to meet. I'm Jonathan, I was born & raised in Ottawa, Canada, and this is a brief introduction to myself.

Throughout my high school years I juggled time playing soccer and rugby, with part-time jobs as a McDonald's crew member, retail sales associate, and camp counselor.

During my free time, I have previously bought and sold electronics off the internet, tried my hand at my mother's sewing machine, and designed graphics in marketing brochures and websites.

From 2013 - 2017, I spent my college experience studying commerce at Queen's University and participated in an exchange semester to City University of Hong Kong in 2016. Following graduation, I moved to New York to pursue an interest in finance.

Beginning my career in equity research at Credit Suisse, I covered industrial and telecommunication companies, before pivoting to Media & Communications investment banking at J.P. Morgan.

Realizing I enjoyed the more nascent, higher-growth areas of our coverage at J.P. Morgan, I moved to San Francisco where I currently help invest in technology companies.

My current interests include animated film, dance, electronic music, housing, photography / videography, psychology & philosophy (e.g. YouTube, reading, Medium), and travel, among others.
