Jyl Josephson
Associate Professor in Minneota, Minnesota
I am an associate professor of political science and women's and gender studies at Rutgers University-Newark. All of my work has focused in one way or another around democracy. I have written on gender, sexuality, and public policy in the US. My book Rethinking Sexual Citizenship will be published by SUNY Press in May 2016. My current projects include research on feminist, queer, and trans activists in Iceland, a project on active citizenship in the US, and a new project on higher education and democracy.
