I am an activist, campaigner and facilitator based out of Dharamshala, India. I have a passion for creating spaces for reflection and vulnerability to uncover and challenge systemic oppression.

I have over 10 years experience in advocacy (grassroots and digital), community organizing, facilitation, training and mentorship, strategic thinking and planning, capacity building, and organization/ movement building.

I facilitate workshops, retreats, and interventions for social justice organizations focusing on strategic planning and campaigning, conflict resolution, building inclusive leadership, strengthening organizational culture, and overall evaluation of work ethics. My facilitation methodology is premised on an intersectional lens of gender, equity and power dynamics. I rely on the knowledge and learning of a robust community of facilitators and trainers, designing my workshops with the aid of tools on platforms such as Hyper Island, Session Lab, Liberating Structures, Training for Change.

I believe a crucial but often neglected aspect of social justice work is a deeper reflection on the values that drive our work, and how we live these values in our work/ organisation culture internally and our campaigns / issues externally. Such kind of reflection is not only deeply nourishing for the kind of work that we as activists do, but a fundamental practice to inculcate for long-term sustainability. It sometimes creates discomfort from which difficult conversations are had, new pathways for greater impact are conceived, and our implicit biases are interrogated thereby allowing us to grow.

Facilitators hold a fair amount of power in the various kinds of spaces that they facilitate. This is where my intentional equity-focused intersectional lens supports me in leaning into group dynamics and designing processes.

I have co-created, designed, facilitated and managed a range of different workshops, projects, sessions, interventions for organizations.
