RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

● Coyote Challenge 5K & 10K Races, Promotional Coordinator

Led marketing efforts to promote this annual event that serves as a fundraiser for the Women’s Cross Country team at California State University. Used social media, marketing and community networking to help attract runners and exceed profit goals. Recognized for leadership role within team and coaching staff.

● Spring Classic Charity Golf Tournament

My marketing class put on a golf tournament with proceeds going toward a school scholarship. Our class raised the largest amount of money out of all the previous year’s classes. I conducted an outreach campaign to area golf courses to recruit volunteers & solicit sponsorship contributions. I also spoke with local businesses, promoting our event gaining connections & support.

● Comedy Show Marketing Team

Led the production of commercials that aired on local radio stations and served as the event spokesperson in numerous media interviews leading up to the sold out event.
