Cultural Property Protection in Ukraine

Greetings, I’m Kyrylo.

I focus on Cultural Property Protection during war and emergencies, developing strategies and systems to safeguard cultural property and resilience in times of crisis.

I have participated in working groups of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the National Institute for Strategic Studies, contributing to the development of national strategies for cultural property protection, improvement of public administration systems, and legislative reforms in this area.

My current research explores risk management frameworks for Cultural Property Protection (CPP), integrating international standards with the realities of war in Ukraine to preserve cultural memory, identity, and values.

I hold degrees in Law, Management of Organizations, and Cross-Cultural Management from the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management in Kyiv. I am also certified in Museum Management, Technical Information Security, and as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
