I'm a civil engineer who decided to follow his hunch that marketing (and branding) is something he gets and could be quite good at by enrolling in Baruch's 2 year MBA program in New York. There I also found out that Finance is not only interesting but it also (almost) makes sense!

Previously, my work as a civil engineer cemented my practical way of thinking and my ability to foresee where and why there will be failure, both theoretically and practically. Furthermore, civil engineering, especially in a country like Greece, is a job that requires you to gain the absolute trust of the client, thus forcing you to exercise your communicational skills. Through my involvement in the conception and very first steps of the NGO Patrinistas, I experienced the complications, difficulties and (usually small but gratifying) victories involved when setting something up from the ground.
