Over the past 15 years, Kabir Kassam has developed a broad skill set in such disparate fields as information technology, management consulting, and educational leadership, proving highly successful in these and other areas. At present, Mr. Kassam offers the full spectrum of consulting services to business partners in his native Chicago and elsewhere, from new technology implementation to process improvements that employ Six Sigma methodologies. With a track record that includes terms as quality assurance manager for leading IT companies, corporate trainer, and head of a sizable tutoring organization with a network of primary and secondary schools across the country, Mr. Kassam commands a thorough understanding of the many ways businesses can improve their performance, grow, and achieve operational sustainability.

When not consulting, Mr. Kassam teaches Six Sigma courses to professionals at Wisconsin’s Madison Area Technical College, where he takes his students through a comprehensive survey of the system’s methodology and practical application. An expert in Six Sigma improvement cycle DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control), Mr. Kassam has implemented and overseen more than 60 such projects in his career, sharing his considerable knowledge with both his Six Sigma Green and Black Belt candidates. Certified by the IASSC as an Accredited Training Associate, Mr. Kassam earned his Six Sigma Master Black Belt designation through the Lean Sigma Corporation.

Some of Kabir Kassam’s previous work experience includes lengthy periods running a nationwide tutoring organization, serving as director of business quality to IT consultancy VCPI, and overseeing quality assurance at professional testing and certification firm Promissor, a former division of Houghton-Mifflin and present component of Pearson VUE. Mr. Kassam completed an MS and BS in information technology management at DePaul University and, later, worked toward a an EdD in educational leadership. He holds additional credentials as a Project Management Professional, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Professional, and Scrum Trainer, among other such designations.
