Kacey Ingram

I was always so unsure about what I wanted to do with my life. Being as indecisive as I was, it was much easier to allow people to sway my thoughts and decisions. When it came to my future, I went back and forth amongst colleges, majors, and even about who I wanted to be. But the faster the clock ticked and the sooner I got into college, everything clicked: I just wanted to be me.

I chose to major in Cellular Biology, not to earn the most money, or get all these degrees to impress everyone around me. I wanted to change lives, even if it was just one. In choosing this major, I hope that people see the impact I leave behind and strive to not necessarily do what I did, but strive to simply be themselves.
