I am an entrepreneur by nature and a mentor at heart. My entrepreneurial journey is decades old, and I first cut my teeth in trade and commerce. Making deals across continents and acquiring the capital to enter the payment industry was just the start. Improving people’s daily life through designing intuitive payment systems was my goal. After years of starting a couple of successful payment companies, I pivoted to investment and the technology sector. Fintech and Regtech became two fields of interest to me. Currently, I focus more on investment than any of my other forays. Throughout my journey, I have discovered that while creating jobs and giving back to the community is fulfilling, paying it forward is just as if not more rewarding. Teaching others, imparting what I have learned throughout my career to them is satisfying, to say the least. I know I would not have made it this far if it had not been for the wisdom of those who took the time and advised me. I hope to do the same for the current and future crop of entrepreneurs. I believe that capital alone cannot make a startup. It is the expertise and the drive/passion behind the team.
