As a child I would rather be at the library than anywhere else, and as I got older, my fascination with books has never faded. Reading is an outlet from reality unlike any other. To be transported to someplace new everyday would be my dream job. That being said, there is no job better for me than publishing.
As a student at Texas Tech University I am pursuing a degree in English with a minor in Technical Communications. With this degree I am planning to go into publishing with a ready to work attitude.
At Texas Tech I am a member of PAWS, Smile Train , and Zeta Tau Alpha. Through these organizations I have learned the value of teamwork, time management, and diligence.
