This blog is dedicated to those who have encouraged and inspired me throughout my journey to become a healthier individual. On October 26, 2011, my husband and I decided it was time to change our lives. We completely changed our lifestyle and eating habits. Following the three basic rules of exercise, portion control, and a well balanced diet, I have lost 155 lbs. In addition to the weight loss, every health problem I was facing at the time went away completely. This lifestyle change saved my life and these are the recipes that helped me do that without sacrificing anything.

On this recipe blog you will find two main types of recipes:

1. The recipes I've used in my weight loss journey with associated Weight Watchers Points+ values.

2. Kid-friendly, kid-inspired gluten/milk-free recipes made for my daughter who has a gluten and milk allergy.
