British born Kadija Bangura came to America in 2000. By fortuitous encounter she was catapulted into a variety of media positions before becoming the Owner/Senior Recruiter for GOFERS.

She began in radio, working her way up from intern through Street Teamer to Assistant Promotions Coordinator for CBS Radio in the Washington DC market in only three years. Following which she worked at Clear Channel Broadcasting and lent her voice to commercial spots for Radio One and Sirius XM.

Kadija’s television experience began as a Production Assistant working on projects with HBO, Warner Bros. NBC Universal and others. In addition to her television career, each year Kadija assists the Talent Department with the Capitol Concert Memorial Day and July Fourth productions which airs on PBS. During the winter, she assists with the BET Honors and the Oscar winning Kennedy Center Honors, to name but a few.

Kadija has also had the unforeseen opportunity to work on major blockbuster movies such as Mission Impossible II (Tom Cruise), Body of Lies (Leonardo DiCaprio), Burn After Reading (George Clooney) and State of Play (Russell Crowe).

Realizing these tremendous opportunities had a stalemate without higher education; Kadija went back to school, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Public Relations from Bowie State University in 2011. Upon completion, she landed her a position as Publicity Coordinator for Liquid Soul and briefly with Allied-THA before launching her own staffing agency - GOFERS.

With a determined effort to provide others with an opportunity to fulfill their dreams; GOFERS trains and seeks gigs for Production Assistants in the Washington Metropolitan area.
