Kaego Rust

KHOR Consulting (“KHOR”) founder, Kaego Ogbechie Rust, is a career business advisor, entrepreneur, and author. With a background in financial services, and over 15 years of investment experience across the public and private markets, Kaego has worked with over 1,400 companies in alternative investing, small business, and startups.

KHOR Consulting is a business advisory service focused on creating growth plans for executive teams and entrepreneurs. KHOR has partnered with institutions such as Goldman Sachs, First Republic Bank, and the Nelson Mandela Foundation — and worked with organizations such as Google, Facebook, Airbnb, and civic leader Former US Attorney General Eric Holder. Over the years, KHOR has helped hundreds of companies execute their expansions by streamlining their finances, operations, and messaging.

Prior to founding KHOR Consulting, Rust served as a Senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs for nearly 10 years. During her time at Goldman Sachs, Rust designed global market curriculum for numerous Portfolio Managers, CEOs, and CFOs; and developed growth strategies for fund managers such as Tiger Global, Farallon Capital, and Partner Fund.

Rust is a regular contributing speaker and writer for a variety of publications, with her notable pieces including “How to Make a Great Pitch Deck”, “3-Month Fundraising Plan”, and “7 Steps to Assess Your Competition”. She is a Board Member of Edgewood Center for Children and Families, the largest children’s charity in the western U.S., and chairs its Operations Committee.

Rust has a passion for supporting women in business, currently resides in San Francisco, and received her B.A. in Economics from Harvard.
